2nd: Following a Trustees meeting Kent is arranging a meeting with them and the Dog Rose Trust to discuss the things that have to be put in place for the Re-Enactment weekend. Kent demonstrated the digital photo-frame to the Trustees who were impressed.

Now that photos have been received of the Re-Enactment group, designs are being made for the posters and publicity material. Draft wording has been sent to Trevor to check.

3rd: A dedicated section of the Dog Rose Trust website is being set up for a blog of this project.

10th: Another recent report on Clun Castle has been received and is being read. Time to put together a resume of information and try and come to some conclusions perhaps!

21st: At least drawings and photos have been sent to the model maker for comments and thoughts about making the model of Clun Castle.

The Norman 'comic' has now been completed and looks very good in colour. See front page below.

29th: Spoke to the model maker who has received our package and things are moving ahead there. Printing out some A5 leaflets for the Barons Revolt to gve out at the Green Man Festival on May 5 and 6.

The picture shows the first page of a comic strip about a family lviing in Clun in Norman times. It introduces us to Brewster, the cockerel who tells the story and the children Ned, Isabel and baby Matilda. Like most children they prefer to play than help with the work and the story of their adventure continues from there.
