Reception for Volunteers

Reception for Volunteers

The Dog Rose Trust attended  a reception given by the High Sheriff of Shropshire for South Shropshire Volunteers. Anna Turner, the current High Sheriff 'wanted to recognise volunteer’s achievements through their voluntary work. This event will provide an opportunity to say "thank you" for all the hard work of your Volunteers.'

The High Sherriff presented ‘thank you’ certificates to them and it provided a chance to meet other volunteers from different Organisations.

Volunteers from the different organisations were asked to fill in a form saying how many volunteer hours they had worked over the years. The Dog Rose Trust calculated that over the past 20 years over 80,000 hours had been put in!
