Heritage Lottery Grant

Heritage Lottery Grant

The Dog Rose Trust and Clun Museum have received a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund, under the All Our Stories project, to carry out further work to make the Museum even more accessible to all.

The funding is for a tactile scale wooden model of Clun Castle as it was in 1300. To complement this a Living History weekend will be held with a Norman re-enactment group.

The Museum's fine collection of photographs will be scanned and loaded on to a digital photoframe. It is hoped that more photographs can be collected.

Further oral history  will be recorded and people in the area have been asked if they want ot take part.

This exciting project will run until October 2013.
